एक दिल मेरे दिलको ज़ख़्म दे गया,
ज़िंदगीभर ना मिलनेकी कसम दे गया !
लाख फूलोंमेंसे चुना था एक फूल,
जो काँटोसे भी गहरी चुभन दे गया !
A heart has wounded my heart,
He vowed not to meet for the rest of his life !
One flower was chosen out of millions of flowers,
Which gave a deeper prick than the thorns !
