Don't complain about the passing of time,

Even today parties are organized in dreams,

Sometimes they emerge from the soul...

Sometimes they reside in the breath;

Sleep is just an excuse,

The party has to be decorated...

Today, the heart has to be wooed,

With the poetry wrapped in destiny.

गुजरते वक्तकी फिर्याद न कर,

आज भी महफिले सजती हैं ख्वाबोंमें,

रुहसे निकलती हैं कभी ...

कभी साँसोमें बसती हैं;

नींद तो इक बहाना हैं,

महफिलको सजाना हैं...

तकदीरसे लिपटी शायरीसे,

दिलको आज लुभाना हैं...l
